BBL training
Combine work and learning in an apprenticeship training program. Do you prefer working with your hands rather than reading books? Or do you enjoy mechanics but are currently doing different work? Then a BBL apprenticeship at VDL ETG is perfect for you! You can choose a training in the fields of Machining, Mechatronics, or
Metal.
Combining work and study
In a BBL apprenticeship, work-based learning pathway, you attend one day of theory per week at an MBO course. The other days you learn the profession in practice at one of our recognized training companies. During your work you will receive intensive guidance from our practical supervisors, and because you learn about different parts of
our company and production during your training, you will also discover where your talents lie and what you enjoy
doing the most. After obtaining your diploma, you will get a job at VDL ETG and you can - if you wish - also
BBL Turning
If you choose this field, you will undergo special internal training. Experienced machinists will teach you the ins and outs of the trade to prepare you for the real work: CNC milling operator on one of our modern machines where components are milled with an accuracy of up to one thousandth of a millimeter!
BBL Mechatronics
Do you enjoy tinkering? Would you prefer to take devices apart to understand how they work? Do you find it fun to come up with new technical solutions? Then the Mechatronics course is something for you! Sometimes you work in an ultra-clean environment (a cleanroom), but always under the guidance of enthusiastic colleagues.
BBL Metalworking
Do you want to become a welder, sheet metal worker or construction worker? Then there are plenty of opportunities at VDL ETG. You will work with modern techniques and tools and will quickly learn to work independently on a product. You can choose from various BBL training courses at levels 3 or 4.
BBL Logistics
Logistics are important for every company. As a logistics employee at VDL ETG, you ensure that the right items are in the right place at the right time. You are responsible for both incoming and outgoing goods.
