Of course, we also process uploaded CVs and motivation letters.

Purpose for processing personal data

VDL has no influence on, and accepts no responsibility for, the use of social media buttons on the VDL website.

Retention period
VDL Groep does not retain your data any longer than strictly necessary. For the purposes as described above, a retention period of 6 months is reasonable. Additionally, VDL may store anonymised data for statistical and research purposes. For personal data received in the context of a job application or the lead-up to it, VDL will not retain this information longer than 4 weeks after the closure of the relevant procedure. If VDL has requested and obtained your consent, VDL may retain these application data for a maximum of two years.

Your rights
Because we process your personal data, you have the right to:

• Submit a request to correct or delete specific data if the personal data is irrelevant or incorrect;
• Submit a request for restriction and objection to the processing of personal data;
• Make a request for data portability;
• Withdraw your consent.

All personal data you leave on this website is provided voluntarily. However, it is obvious that we are unable to contact you, provide information, or carry out a recruitment process if we do not have the correct personal data.

Changes and notifications about your privacy
If you have any questions or comments about our processing of your personal data, we kindly ask you to contact us via AVG@vdl.nl. We will do our best to assist you. If you wish to respond to this privacy policy or believe that VDL Group is not acting in accordance with this privacy policy, we ask you to contact VDL Groep via AVG@vdl.nl.
